MIC is committed to keeping the local community informed about the terminal's development and creating opportunities to hear and understand local views. Feedback from the community has been used to inform the design of the terminal and the selection of measures to minimise its impacts. 2014 Environmental Impact Statement
MIC held three community information sessions on the EIS in October 2014.
The sessions provided an opportunity for people to speak in person to MIC and the technical team, ask questions and learn how to make a submission on the EIS to the regulators.

2013 community consultation
In October and November 2013, MIC conducted three community consultation sessions, which gave MIC important information about the priorities and interests of local residents.
