Moorebank Logistics Park is a nationally significant infrastructure project that will deliver benefits to the freight and logistics industry, and local and regional economies for years to come. The precinct will deliver significant benefits to south-west Sydney and the broader NSW economy, with over 1,300 jobs to be created during construction and approximately 6,800 people set to be employed once operations are at full capacity.  Moorebank Logistics Park will be a major economic contributor to south-west Sydney for many years to come. The site has a direct rail link to Port Botany and the interstate rail freight network which, along with its proximity to major motorways, make it ideal for an intermodal facility.

When the Moorebank Logistics Park is operating, the terminals will be operated as an open access facility that encourages competition on a non-discriminatory basis and helps to boost national productivity.

To help explain what this will mean for industry stakeholders and potential access seekers, Moorebank Intermodal Company (MIC), Qube and the Australian Logistics Council (ALC) are jointly conducting a consultation session on Wednesday 19 June 2019 from 11am to 5pm at the Moorebank Logistics Park.

The consultation session will include:

  • Return transportation from Sydney CBD to Moorebank Logistics Park

  • A tour of the Moorebank Logistics Park

  • Presentation featuring representatives of MIC, Qube and ALC

  • Q & A session
